Take a shot everytime I say LGBTQ+! Hey guys, welcome back to my channel it is
your girl Dutchy and in today’s video we’ll be discussing the top 3 LGBT myths that exist. Alright myth number one. Members of the LGBTQ+ community are more promiscuous. Now this is false! In a 2010 Ok Cupid Study, results found that
98% of gay respondents admitted to having twenty or fewer sexual partners throughout
their entire life with 99% of heterosexual people saying exactly the same. SO guys, they’re pretty much even! Ooooh that 1%! The second myth is that children of LGBTQ+
parents are more likely to be LGBTQ+ themselves. There is actually no association with children
of LGBT parents being LGBT and children who are LGBT who do not have LGBT parents. Wow. Take a shot everytime I say LGBTQ+. Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual people can be identified
by certain mannerisms or physical characteristics. Now this is of course false because people
in the LGBT+ community come in many different shapes, sizes, colours, peoples, personalities! So, it’s ridiculous to think that you could
look at someone and be like yo they’re gay. I understand that the stereotypes involved
can often portray someone that way but it does not mean that at all. Like you can’t base someone’s sexuality off
their physical appearance or colour or gender or anything! Now there is actually no and I mean no data
showing that LGBTQ+ relationships don’t last as long in fact, one study found that same-sex
couples actually have a lower divorce rate than non-same sex couples. Now, obviously the title of this video is
the top 3 LGBT myths but i’ve got some bonus myths for you guys that I picked up along
the way that I thought were really interesting. Another one is that gay men only have anal
sex. Now, come on guys! You might be real boring in your hetero life
but it doesn’t mean that gay people are. There are so many different ways to have sex
whether you are gay or not. And besides I know and this would be a stereotype. But not all guys would actually like anal. I know a lot would but there would be some
that wouldn’t. Different strokes for different folks. And the last one that I wanted to address
was that queer relationships and sex is radically different from those of heterosexual relationships
and heterosexual sex. Now in terms of penis in vagina and non penis
in vagina yes it’s different. Whether or not you’re in an LGBTQ+ relationship
or in a heterosexual relationship there’s always going to be fights, drama, sex, cuddling
it’s all the same like love is love. Anyway, thank you guys so much for watching
this video, if you did enjoy then please make sure to give it a huge thumbs up so I know
to do more myths and facts vids in the future and yeah I will see you guys in my next video
on Monday, bye!

  1. Yea I'm not really sure why people think they can assume someone is gay based on how they look. Like you need to ask someone before you start assuming things!

Also, I agree with you! There are SOOOOOO many different ways to have sex!
