  1. She is in jail for not doing her job, do the job you were elected to do or get out of office, there is no place for religion in state. It is separation of church and state.

  2. "Whatever in the water does not have fins and scales is a monstrosity to consume." Leviticus 11:12

Apparently eating shellfish is on the same level of awfulness as homosexuality. Tell 'em that to shut people up.

  3. So Christians don't understand the difference between a 'Civil Union' and the 'The Sacrament of Matrimony'.
'The Sacrament of Matrimony' can only be performed by an ordained minister in a church. These are the only types of marriages that are official in the eyes of their god.
A civil union (or even any marriage performed by a judge), is a secular marriage that affords the couple the same legal rights and privileges, however religion has nothing to do with it.

So Kim Davis isn't some Rosa Parks type hero. She's more the like bus driver who's still forcing blacks to sit in the back despite the fact that they have equal rights.

  4. Muslims extremists put Religion over state does that mean they are right to follow their beliefs to 'kill non-believers'?

  5. You know there are groups in the middle east that act just slightly worse then these folks. Although if gone unchecked I am sure these Christian Taliban members would resort to violence.

  6. A few years ago, fleeing my war torn country, I was captured by the victors. I was quickly enslaved, but my master is a kind man, and this week he allowed me to purchase his daughter. The best part is if I knock her up and she gives birth, I'll be free within 7 years! The downside is my wife and future child will be forced into slavery if I leave, with no hope of escape. But at least I'm given the choice if I want to remain a slave or regain my freedom. Thank god for biblical marriage! He certainly is a wise and kind creator, with the fairest and most benevolent laws.

  7. " Show us the law or set her free"! These protestors sure like to pretend that the law of the land, which gives everyone the right to marry didn't get voted into law this summer. I am afraid for you guys that mans law is over Gods law. How dumb are these people?

  8. More undeniable proof that being a Christian Fundie makes one stupid. Or only stupid people are the ones becoming fundies.

  9. These people probably also think sharia law is pure evil. Why are there so many stupid hypocrites in fly over country?

  10. These DRUNK ON JESUS people ARE the BLIGHT of the entire WORLD

Luckily as mankind becomes more educated, the SCARE TACTICS that religion uses and once worked,

    are no longer effective.!!!

EDUCATED PEOPLE SEE RIGHT THRU THEIR BULLSHIT!

  11. Kim Davis is a HERO for taking a stand for what is morally right in God`s eyes and it is an Honor to be Jailed for standing up against Perverted Wickedness. Marriage is between a Man and a Woman. What next, Evil people passing Laws saying it`s ok to marry kids? this is the Kind of Government we now have.wake up America.

  12. Christians like many other religious nut's out to dictate the law on everyone else as they see it instead of getting use to others now having the right to choose what is best for their own lives.

  13. do they realise their own book says their god's court works a bit differently, right? or, again, that mighty entity needs them to do its will, due to impotence?

  14. We need to get some things straight here.

Davis is NOT a martyr to an oppressive government forcing her to comprise her "religious freedom."

Davis IS the oppressive government. She is an elected County Clerk in Kentucky who is using the power of the state to deny the constitutional right to marry to certain individuals who don't meet her personal religious test.

Davis is NOT Martin Luther King. Davis is Orval Faubus standing in the school house door. David is George Wallace standing in the university door.

President Eisenhower federalized the Arkansas National Guard and sent the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army to assure black children could go to school in Little Rock in 1957.

President Kennedy federalized the Alabama National Guard and ordered it to see that black students could attend the University of Alabama in 1963.

If Davis again interferes with the issuing of marriage licenses in Rowan County, Kentucky she will find herself in the custody of the US Marshall's and back in jail. In this country, governments do not deny lawfully issued court orders citing "God's Will" or the government's "religious freedom."

That is an unconstitutional establishment of religion. We don't expect "Liberty Counsel" to see it that way. We do expect the US Supreme Court to see it that way.

If Davis were just an employee of the County Clerk and other clerks would issue marriage licenses, we could talk about making at "religious accommodation" under the circumstances. But Davis is not a mere employee. She is the ELECTED County Clerk. Davis IS the GOVERNMENT, There is NO accommodation available for "the Government" here — only obedience to the courts or the consequences of disobedience.

  15. I wonder if these religious bigots would defend the religious rights and freedoms of

A Muslim clerk refusing to issue business licenses to infidels.
    or
A Jewish clerk who refused to issue business licenses to restaurants who served non-kosher food
    or
How about a vegan clerk who refused to issue hunting permits
Or does this religious freedom thing only apply to their religion

  16. I laud the movement and if I was there WOULD have went right to his door and arrested HIM on the Spot!
No questions asked and NO one would have stopped me either!!!!!!
