How to Arrange WordPress Posts and Custom Post Types Using Drag and Drop

Hey there and thanks for watching WPBeginner.
In this video, I’ll show you how to arrange posts and custom post types using drag and
drop. If you’ve ever wanted to rearrange the order
that your published posts show on your site, you’ve noticed how tedious it can be to go
into each post and change the date to show them in that order that you want. With Post Types Order you can drag the posts
visually without dealing with the date fields. First install and activate Post Types
Order plugin. Once activated we’ll click on the settings link to configure it. We’re going to
keep the default settings and click save settings. Now we can go to posts–>re-order to rearrange
the posts. Once I’m finished, I’ll go to the bottom and
click update. Now I can see how the posts look on my site. Notice that the post date stays the same even though they’re in a different order. I hope you liked this video and found it helpful.
